It's a Winter Wonderland!!!

It's a snow day at our house! The best part about living in the South is that when it does snow, we're ALL snowed in! Craig's home too! I'm the luckiest girl in the World!!! It is funny to realize that we've been in warmer climates long enough that we don't really have snow clothes for the kids. Rain boots work pretty well though. As you can see we're all enjoying being snuggly warm with movies and fun color/painting books from Auntie Kathie(thanks!). We had a wonderful breakfast of turkey bacon, eggs and sourdough bread. I'm gonna take a shower, make cookies, read my book and organize Sophie's room. All the things I didn't get done this weekend! Hurray for an extension of the weekend!

Wow, you have snow and UT is 60 degrees in feb/march.. I am jealous. I moved to UT for the long winters and it seems I get a long fall/spring and 2 weeks of winter... oh well.. glad to see you are all well. Miss you guys

that's REAL snow! I didn't know they made it there. How nice Craig got to stay home, too. It's a bummer being far from work. Our snow days weren't snow days in Bellevue and Derek had to trudge through it all so they didn't think he was just skipping out.

And Sophie looks so cute and round and squishy! I need more pictures of her! I can't believe she's already almost 3 months old.

Glad you've had a nice cozy day.

What a fun day! Sophie is getting so big and her hair is growing long. I can see how happy the kids are, Taylor's dimple never looked so sweet! You have much more snow than us but I bet our temps are cooler! Enjoy!!!

Geez! I can't believe how much snow you guys got! It is supposed to be sunny and in the 50s here tomorrow! Can't wait! The kids look so happy to be home and Sophie looks adorable (as always)!! She's such a little butterball! She actually kind of looks a bit like Addy!

You know the other nice part of southern snow? It doesn't last that long! I'll bet you guys are thawed out by now. Not us! But our snow banks are shrinking. Dad thinks by June they may be gone (or so covered with gravel that they look like dirt instead of snow, which may be all we get this year!) :)

Lucky you guys! Where's your snowman?

we didn't even get any snow!!! how fun to have a snow day with everybody home- including craig! it may not have been nearly as productive if you'd just had all the kiddos.
