and now it's Summer...

Today it was nearly 80 degrees. A lot different than the beginning of the week in the 20's. We spent the entire day outside. The kids road bikes and played in the sprinklers and we tried out a new ice cream shop on the way home from "Play it Again Sports". We didn't find a new softball mitt for Craig, but we all really enjoyed the gelati at the ice cream shop.

That does look like a summer scene for sure...it was 70 here and it felt wonderful! Windows open all day! I love Katie's pink cheeks and I just want to squeeze Sophia...Taylor too, I can't wait to see you guys!

That is so weird! I want the same thing to happen to us. Last night we went out to dinner and afterward it felt sooo sooo cold. The restaurant was at the River Woods and Jack wanted to see all the "Christmas lights." I can't blame him for thinking they were Christmas lights...it was probably in the teens.

We did go swimming yesterday at the Rec Center though. It was a blast. Jack was thrilled that mommy was wearing her swimsuit (I'm not always up to the maternity swimsuit).

It wasn't summer here, but at least the snow didn't last very long, and it's good to know it's summer somewhere!

Fun videos! Cute bathing suit Katie!

That's NUTS!!! I bet it feels even hotter and more wonderful after all the snow. We had sunshine last week, but it's snowing AGAIN. Looks like more snow days... makes me feel (and sound) a lot like Eeyore. :)

Great bike riding Katie! And Sophie is so big and SO cute. Taylor is so grown up and I love how his cheeks were rosy. Makes me ALMOST feel warm, too!
