Well, it finally happened! Katie finally lost her first tooth, thanks to Craig's persistent yanking. It came out last night right before she got in the bathtub(which is why she's naked in the video. Thanks to Ya-ya for the cute little tooth fairy box and poem that Katie is reading. Taylor is convinced that he has a loose tooth now too. The Tooth Fairy tried to come last night but Katie slept with her tooth in her hand so that the Fairy couldn't have it. She says maybe on Saturday the Fairy can have it.

Congratulations, Katie!!! The tooth fairy used to leave a pot of pennies at our house. I hope it leaves more for you! What a thoughtful Ya-Ya to send a tooth box!! She's almost as great as a tooth fairy!
At this point, she's not willing to give up her tooth to the tooth fairy, we'll see!
that's HILARIOUS!! I can't believe she hasn't lost it. They are so tiny! Maybe she'd rather keep her teeth than have the money... that's got to be a first. :) But then again, we trimmed nails the other day and Lydia was so impressed by the coolness of the nail clippings, she actually suggested starting a collection. For reals!! I let her know that was disgusting and out of the question. :)
oh no! When I was about Lydia's age I collected my fingernails for a while. I was going to use them in a witches brew. yep. for reals. :}
Peanut, now you are on your way to financial freedom, you and Warren Buffet. Just put your tooth fair fund away at a reasonable interest and 100 yrs from now you'll never have to worry again.... assuming you keep the commandments and do what mommy and daddy say.
