It's that time of year again

This is a pic of the largest moth on the planet!! whoa! wouldn't want that hanging out on my front porch lamp!
Taylor is checking out the caterpillars that turn into Monarch butterflies.

Last year we went to the Frederik Meijer Gardens on the first day of spring to see the butterflies that they hatch in their huge conservatory/greenhouse. This year I couldn't wait until the first day of Spring. We have gone twice already (we're members so it's "free")and I plan to go again, maybe even tomorrow! It's amazing to see them all flying around and feel the fabulous warmth of the greenhouse.

I could use some of that warmth! Fun times and a great place to get away for a bit and enjoy nature! Now, what's wrong with Sophie's legs? It's a mystery that needs solved!

I thought you meant it was "butter" time. I can't of feel anti-butter after too many winter-stuck-inside nights. :)

sounds seriously warm and wonderful! I thought it was "butter" time, too, at first. Funny!!

oh, sophie had gotten some immunizations at the dr office right before we went. She walked around holding her poor little legs.
