Mom's visit and Downtown Greenville

We had so much fun with "Ni-ma" here this week. We painted ALOT and shopped ALOT for house stuff but we also had the most beautiful weekend. We went to downtown Greenville and enjoyed the Saturday Market and some great eats and views of the Falls. We also relived our trip to Paris at the Paris Cafe!

Here's the kiddos at the Ward Trunk-or-treat on Friday night! I love Taylor's Muscles! He's been living in that Superman costume ever since it came in the mail Friday afternoon(yeah, I ordered it sept 25th).

Coota the cat

This is Katie and her cat "Coota". Believe it or not this cat has only been with us since May. What love! Check out the feet. We just took off Coota's shoes and you can see how pink she used to be! If only we could all be so loved.

The new place

Here are some pix of the inside of the new house. The guy in the kitchen is the inspector. It's pretty much a blank slate as you can see. i have high hopes of getting new solid surface countertops and building on a breakfast bar to the island. We already replaced the chandalier in the formal dining room with a ceiling fan. We're going to use that room as a library. We'll buy some bookshelves and a desk for the computer. We'll have to do a wireless router though because unlike our last house, this one doesn't have a cable outlet on every wall.

Katie's having none fun

This is after Katie's first day of school. She didn't wear this to school, but maybe she should have! She said her pants were too small. I can't remember why she was making this face at me, but is classic peanut drama.

Katie's Stinky doody

Katie is going to be Sleeping Beauty or "stinky doody" as she says, for Halloween. Doesn't she look gorgeous??? You can see our messy house in the background. I should be working on it right now. Rachael is putting me to shame though! I checked out their blog and it's AMAZING! I gotta catch up!
