Last week for FHE we built a garden. The ground here is horrible clay that is impossible to dig into so we just built a planter box and filled it with potting soil. It's not super big, but we're excited about it. We planted 4 different kinds of tomatoes, some peppers, squash, zucchini, cucumbers and strawberries. So far so good. We've watered it everyday and they seem to be growing already!

Way to go guys! I know you'll enjoy the fruits of your labor. We planted some raspberry plants...Eddy pulled one out. I'm going to get some more tomorrow! Can't wait to get our garden in!
Amy, Amy how does your garden grow??? -With lots of cute little helpers,...that's how!!!
And I was just feeling fine about not planting anything this year...
If the snow really is gone now, maybe I need to rethink that.
yummy, yummy!! Grow lots of tomatoes for me, I'm not even going to bother with them this year. although the rest of the family is itching to try corn, of all the crazy heat-loving veggies.
i love the look of the box! It's so nice and brand-new and weed free! and your plants look so big and healthy.
That looks like so much fun! I love your backyard. Maybe someday we'll have a backyard. The other day Jack asked to play in our backyard...umm you mean the gravel pit? Whatever...
Yum-alicious! Nothing better than sun ripened, red-all-the-way through strawberries.
