I've been tagged!

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
10 years ago: Well, according to Hailey’s journal I had just sliced open my finger (sorry to my family who had to wait for my trip to the ER to break their fast). So I was busy practicing my stunting for our big spirit game in January! I did rip 3 of the stitches out, but we won the game and the Rubber Chicken for the first time Chuck was OURS and probably all because I was finally down on the floor and able to really make a difference!

5 things on my to-do list today:
1- Take Katie to school, then pick her up from the bus stop then take her to dance and then pick her up from dance.
2- Plan Girls Camp and the budget without a camp manual and no idea where the camp is.
3- Make a large chocolate chip cookie in the shape of a #101 that is black and white spotted
4- Make sure that Katie’s books go back to school (the right books on the right days in the right color folders) and all her forms get filled out properly and returned on the right days with the correct amount of money attached to them (public school is NOT free).
5- Register Taylor for Preschool (more filling out the correct forms and turning them in at the right time with the correct amount of money attached).

Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
PAY TITHING! Take Craig to Hawaii. Replace the counter tops and flooring. Finish out the cabinetry. Get a storm door, kick plate and new hardware. Contract the 2 story foyer and great room paint job. Pour a larger patio and finish out the fencing. Then I’d hand it over to Craiggle to invest it properly.

2 of my bad habits:
Biting my cuticles
Snacking when I’m bored instead of hungry

5 places I have lived:
1-Boise, ID
2-Great Falls, MT
3- Syracuse, NY
4- Mexico City, Mexico
5- Greenville, SC

5 Jobs I have had:
1-Baskin robbins
2- Harold B. Lee Library on BYU campus (I loved working at the library).
3-MTC Development
4- NBC local affiliate in Evansville, IN
5-Archives Specialist for Onondaga County, NY

Things people don't know about me:
I don’t think there is anything that people (would WANT to know)don’t know about me…..I have dreams with the cast of Gilmore Girls in them (they’re real to ME!)
I’m still convincing myself that I don’t want a tattoo.

Hailey tagged almost everybody I know that has a blog, but I will tag... Craiggle, Dad and Mom, Jordi and Tanner! You're IT!

The Race that will never be run

Craig and I signed up through GE to run a 5k today in downtown Greenville. After running yesterday in rather chilly weather (30's and windy)I knew it wouldn't be pretty but I was excited anyhow. Katie woke up urping this morning so my race never got run(actually Craig ran with my little microchip thing in his pocket so they think that I got a pretty great time! 26 minutes!). I'm pretty disappointed actually. Craig went and represented though. Katie seems to be feeling better and I'm still doing laundry. Good times.

Yummy!

For those of you who are looking for a great, easy super healthy meal try this one! it's one of our favorites!

ARRGGHHH Matey!

Taylor is a fierce pirate. he likes to wear his hat down over his eyes like in the first picture. I'm the soldier and we fight. He's got some pretty good moves. I'll try to get a video to post.

Katie: The School Years

Here's Katie's school picture for this year. I think it was taken her very first day of school(it was make up picture day, I guess). Her class picture was taken a couple weeks ago. Pretty great stuff, huh?

Check them out!

So here's us playing in the snow first thing Thursday morning. Taylor is still in his jammies!

SNOW DAY!

Wednesday night all anybody could talk about was the impending snow storm. Katie's teachers even told her that she probably wouldn't be coming to school on Thursday. Sure enough, it snowed Wednesday night and we had snow left over to get rained on on Thursday morning. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow and the streets were fine by the time Craig went into work at 9am. He was the first one to show up at work though. Everything stops here when it snows. It snowed yesterday too(I wonder how much that affected the Republican primaries). It didn't affect our plans. We kept our friends little boys Friday and Saturday until 1pm and so Saturday night Craig and I went out! It was nice that it snowed though because we didn't have to wait for a table at the restaurant (or as Katie would say "lunch runt")or buy our movie tickets early.

Taylor does Yoga!

Taylor was striking this pose the other day. Looks like he's pretty good at yoga too, huh?

Who's a Toucan?

Taylor and I went to the little Zoo here in Greenville last week. It's a little smaller than the one in Evansville, but not quite as hilly. We had a nice morning there.

Tiger or Taylor????

We found these pint size clubs at Play It Again Sports and now we have 3 golfers in the family. Katie's not so interested, but Taylor is better than me already!

Thanks for the shoes YAYA!

Here's what Katie's been sporting while Taylor's decked out as Spiderman or Superman!

It's been cold!

Okay, so we wondered if it ever would get cold and it did. It's been down in the teens at night and up to the 30's and 40's during the day. Not Ohio or NY cold, but cold enough with some crazy wind.

Happy New Year's PAR--TAY!!!

We threw a New Year's Eve party at our place. It was fun since we'd mostly just painted the house the rest of the holiday break. We had 3 families over at 6:30pm and we just hung out and ate party food until 8:30pm when we shot off fireworks, then we came inside and did a big count down and toasted with Martinelli's and blew party pipes. Some people left to put kids to bed and some hung out until around 10pm. Then we cleaned up and put the kids to bed around 10:30pm. Craig and stayed up to watch Dick Clark and welcome the new year. It was really fun! We took these pix BEFORE everybody got here. We really did have people over and not imaginary friends, really.

Even Super Heros get tired

Over Christmas Taylor enjoyed being either Superman or Spiderman everyday (and he sleeps as spiderman everynight, which comes in handy since it's been cold)! Craig and Taylor enjoyed their weekly "football game" nap on Sunday. Funny how just watching football can wear them out! :>
