When Mom and Dad were out we drove past this sign for "Waffle House". Now I don't know first hand that that "lunch runt" (restaurant) is actually awful, it sure looks like it is! Thanks for pointing that out Dad! Love it! The morning after we saw this sign we went out for breakfast at Stax's Omega Diner and had a wonderful breakfast! Thanks for that too Dad!

Gee, we can relate! We went to a Waffle house in Columbus a few weeks ago when nothing else was open and it WAS just AWFUL!!!!!
...-and we had an Omega close to Mom's house in Chicago that we loved and went to each time we visited...the junior (adult was too big!)apple pancke was to die for!!!! ummmm!
Donna Starkey is right, the Omega in Chicago is awesome! It's a greek establishment, is the one by you???Maybe we'll have to find out in a few weeks.

Waffle House rules. There is one at EVERY exit down in Georgia...if you see one, go in and get the pecan waffle, yum!
We knew it was a sign. We always follow the signs, especially when they are high in the heavens and lit up and say AFFLE. It just wouldn't be right to pray for inspiration and not heed the sign, right???

That is really funny. It's amazing the restaurants that are hanging in there...like poor McDonalds...whoever goes to that dump?
If the affle house is anything like IHOP, I'll pass! This reminded me of being in McCall with you and your family and passing a restaurant called LARDO's that you and Uncle Chris got a kick out of. You two like those crazy restaraunt names! We had a Chuck Orama in Boise and I always thought was one of the worst names ever for a buffet!
we have a waffle house just around the corner from us! kent and I have never gained up the courage to go. Did you know that bert and ernie sing a song about waffles being "affle" without w's. Zeb loves it (the song).
