Black Widow Spider

This horrible(okay leisy doesn't think it's horrible) spider was in our garage. I banned the kids from the garage and sprayed it with the insect repellent and watched it die. It was sad to watch it die, but I told it "don't live in my garage and I won't have to kill you". I hope there aren't more! I told Taylor "there are big spiders in the garage that if they bite you, you will die!". Hopefully, he believes me.

Oh, man, I HATE black widows! I think California is their favorite place and my mom used to hunt them at night. Oh, yeah, she's afraid of mice and the terror of spiders.

When we were little she used to tell my sister to never touch the spiders and Kathie would then make a fist and say "mommy, I got a black weedow." Mom would say, Kathie you better not have a spider in that hand. And so the games continued.

Fun times! Good luck with that!

Yikes! I read this yesterday and it sent shivers down my spine,(I HATE spiders!!!!) but then I thought well I live in California and there aren't any here. I then proceeded to read the other comments and after reading Donna's my sense of security was shattered!!!! Now I'm on the lookout!

I think I've had a little dilemma in teaching Jack about cars. I'm so paranoid that he will get hit. I tell him that cars are big and he must hold my hand around them because cars can kill us. It's probably terrifying to him. The other day we were leaving Macey's and he kept reaching up and saying, "cars, cars..." I guess I got my point across.

okay, that was a typo - I do know my grammar and I meant "this" pic, not "these." :)
