The Halloween Parade

Last Saturday our HOA had a Halloween parade. Sadly, Taylor threw a flying fit about his shoes just as we were preparing to leave and had to stay home and take a nap. Katie and I did have a good time, but it was a little hot (yeah, I thought we might get sunburned).

Happy Halloween!

We carved pumpkins on Sunday and then took them out on the porch. Taylor's pumpkin kept falling over. I thought it was pretty hilarious. We asked the kids how they wanted their respective Jack-o-lanterns to look. Katie responded by getting our styrofoam jack-o-lantern with the regular triangle eyes, nose, toothy grin combo and Taylor just kept saying "HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!" Anyhow you can see what we ended up with. The large Jack-o-lantern was Craig and my joint creation.

Katie the Fairy

This is Katie being a fairy. One of her Halloween costumes(she comes home from school and becomes somebody new every day of the week). We recently unpacked her dress-ups and they have been very popular.

The Boudoir

Here's our bedroom post-paint party. Taylor's room will get this color too.

The new paint!

I don't know if you can see the paint colors that well, but here are some pix of the house post-mom! I'll have to post some pix taken during daylight hours. We have yellow in the kitchen adn lighter yellow in the hallway. Greens in the library(note the new ceiling fan thanks to craig and my handy work) and our new leather chair and ottoman!!! hurray for sam's club clearance!!! We got an AMAZING deal on them!

This is for LEISY AND KENT!!

Hey here's a shout out to Leisy and Kent! I thought you'd like these crazy pumpkins we found at the pumpkin patch! Enjoy all that nice cool weather in Toledo and kiss that cute baby for me!

Pumpkin Patch

Last night we went to the pumpkin patch. It was fun. Not cold though. It was 80 and super humid today and I had to turn the a/c on. I don't think that summer will EVER end! I'm really tired of being hot. I'm REALLY not looking forward to next summer at all. Hopefully all the other great things about Greenville will be able to make up for the heat and humidity.
